Makeda Blake, RMA/CPT
The owner and founder of Simply Draw Phlebotomy LLC., Makeda Blake is a Nationally Certified Phlebotomy Technician(CPT) and Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Makeda has over 12 years of experience in this sector of healthcare, as she continues her passion in making a difference in people’s lives'. Makeda was born in the sunshine state of Florida, where she has trained and polished her skills in phlebotomy. She attended Miami Dade College back in 2007, then decided to fast-pace her career into the technical world, as a National Registered Medical Assistant licensed and certified with the American Medical Technologists (AMT) organization. Makeda has a wide range of experience in healthcare, from Urgent Care Centers, Primary Care, and Cardiology.

“I am pleased to share my experiences with you! I began studying and working as a Medical Assistant, it has always been my passion to take care of others and honor the doctors that I have worked for. I say this with grace because I have truly experienced the reward- it’s a greater reward which one can only obtain from the inside, a reward of satisfaction, peace, and humbleness. With this, I have found growth. My background growing up in a suburban community, transitioned and in spite of many trials and tribulations, my passion in caring for people had always been a burning flame- I wanted to be able to spread love, and what better way than through my career as a health care professional. I now present to you something that I have been dreaming of since 2019, Mobile Phlebotomy! This dream appeared as a reality when the pandemic hit the following year. Then after, I finally gained enough courage to launch Simply Draw Phlebotomy LLC. in June 2022. I took a leap out on faith and eventually quit my job of five years, to fulfill my own dreams. I want to thank all of my patients along the way, who have passionately believed in me. I especially want to thank my family for being there throughout it all. It is my honor to serve you, as your personal phlebotomist!”
